We are excited to come back from COVID-19 quarantine with our church family. The staff and leadership of North Ridge Church have been praying and seeking wisdom in building a reopening plan with reasonable and safe guidelines.

Beginning immediately, North Ridge Church is encouraging small groups of individuals to gather online to encourage and support each other. We are also encouraging individuals who are healthy and feel comfortable to meet physically with their wingspan family members in small groups for Church at Home in their own homes on Sunday May 24 & 31.

Additionally, we are planning an all-church comeback on Sunday, June 7th.  As a church, we are made up of many different people, with different needs. To accommodate the various needs within our church, we will be changing up our 3 worship experiences in order to allow everyone within our reach to engage in worship with us. In addition to multiple service options, we will also be taking extra precautions to keep you safe and healthy based on the CDC guidelines. The following is our reopening plan for Sundays in the month of June.

  • 9:00AM - “In-person” service at the former JC Penney store in the Marshfield Mall

    • Family Service

    • Masks are not required, but welcomed

    • Extra hand sanitation available

    • No food or drink provided and you can bring your own chair or blanket

  • 10:45AM - “Church at Home” Online only service.

    • Broadcast on Facebook, on the NRC app or at

  • 5:30PM - “Drive-in Church” at the South Side Property

    • In your car or around a campfire with your NRC family members

    • Acoustic Worship

    • Weather Permitting

All 3 services will feature identical songs and messages so you can pick where you are most comfortable worshipping.

As our reopening plan continues to be developed, all services will be family services. Children’s programming will not be available for any in-person gatherings, but we will have activities for kids to stay involved with the service. We anticipate reopening children’s programming in July, and our youth ministry will start meeting for outdoor gatherings on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:00pm at the South Side Property (weather permitting).

These plans are subject to change as things develop. We are believing for an incredible summer with our NRC family!

Here is what we will do as a church

Be the Church

Interact online, and do not stop interacting with your church family and those in your wingspan. Spread peace and hope to others during these unknown times. Allow Jesus' comfort and joy to flow through you.

"...Present every request to the Lord..." Philippians 4:6-7

Here are some things you can be lifting up in prayer.

1. For this virus to cease to exist

2. For our world that is grappling to handle the constant change in health and information.

3. Our community as it prepares for this virus

4. Our healthcare professionals and emergency responders who are on the front lines of this crisis.

5. Those you are infected and affected by this pandemic.

6. Families in our community who are handling school closures and family changes

Discussion Questions for week of May 24

    1. Why is it that when we hurt,  healing isn’t our first priority?  What is your first priority when experiencing hurt?

    2. Read Romans 12:10-14

-Honor is a part of loving well. Where does honor come from?

-Honor is for those who serve, not just those who serve me. Who is someone you honor? Why?

    3. What are the 3 areas Pastor Preston said we need to mature in as we seek to rediscover honor?

Reflect and even journal about these 2 ending inquiries

    1. How have you dishonored others?

    2. What can you do to choose an attitude of honor in your life?
