At MOPS of North Ridge Church we want to impact moms in the early stage of mothering children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS is designed to encourage you by offering a caring, accepting atmosphere where there is an opportunity to share concerns, make friends, explore areas of creativity and hear instruction from a MOPS mentor.
MOPS of NRC is backed by MOPS International which exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, a mother and a leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
Just because we have become mothers doesn’t mean we need to lose ourselves. Moms have continuous needs; to sleep, to grow, to talk with someone who cares and to regain perspective and find help. Needs are normal. Needs are personal. Needs must be recognized. Moms cannot effectively meet the needs of their children while ignoring their own. During the days (and nights) of mothering young children with intense needs, moms must recognize the value of understanding and meeting their own needs, for their sake, the sake of their children and their families. MOPS wants to help meet these needs through celebrating motherhood, making connections and experiencing God’s love through relationships and resources.
MOPS meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month during the school year from 8:30-10:30AM at North Ridge Church. Childcare is provided. For more information please contact:
