At NRC, we want to give your kids the safest, most exciting, and relational experience that has something for every child (birth through 6th grade)! We will provide opportunities for them to grow closer to God and make meaningful friendships with each other, establishing them as a core part of our church family.

HAS YOUR CHILD ACHIEVED SOMETHING REALLY COOL OUTSIDE OF NRC KIDS?

Did they get Student of the Month at their school, make a goal in their soccer game, get their grades up, pass a test, do all their chores without complaining, or hit a new milestone? We want to know and celebrate with you!
OR
Does your child have a special event coming up? Sporting event, award ceremony at school, choir concert; we would love come and be a part of it!

nrc kids on sunday mornings

Every Sunday morning we provide full Kid's Church at 9:00 & 10:45am.
Babies through 6th grade are welcome to come interact with each other, make friends, learn about God, be prayed over and, honestly, have a lot of fun!

We've developed an environment that's more than babysitting!

In our NRC Lil’s space, children are surrounded by an attitude of love, praise, and teaching! Simple songs and interactive stories are used to teach even the youngest child truths from the Bible. Kids will enjoy snacks, playtime, coloring, and other fun activities designed especially for them!
All activities are supervised and designed with the ability of your child in mind.

Our Preschool space provides an interactive
learning atmosphere in a colorful and fun environment!

In NRC Preschoolers the kids get the opportunity to experience God in bite-sized bits through illustrated Bible lessons, videos, and more! Children rotate through playtime, group time, worship time, and table time; each with a new experience including snacks, crafts, and large and small group lessons designed with their ages in mind.
The Sunday morning Schedule
  • Pre Service begins in the elementary auditorium for some awesome connection time playing games like giant four square, gaga ball, pinball, and hanging out.
  • At the start of service we participate in high-energy worship led by our own kids' worship team, participate in a large group lesson, and a time for prayer and response.
  • After the large group lesson, kids are dismissed to their age-specific small groups, where they will spend some time connecting with each other about the day’s lesson.
  • After service, parents pick up their elementary kids in the Elementary Auditorium.

We are all about creating fun, engaging environments where elementary-aged kids get to connect with their friends and adult mentors while learning about Jesus.

At NRC Kids we have a very important mission which is
“to build friendships and guide kids toward Christ-centered wholeness” while teaching kids what it means to be a R.O.C.K. (Responsible, Open to the Holy Spirit, Cheerful, and Kind).

Large Group
  • Kids learn the Faith Fact of the week through object lessons, skits, videos, and other creative activities in the Elementary Auditorium. Kids are given the opportunity to connect with God by praying at the altar. It's big-scale fun for communicating big concepts!
Small Groups
  • Kids are divided by grades.  A Small Group leader will guide the children through discussion questions, games, object lessons and more related to the Large Group lesson!
  • Each Small Group leader is hand selected and certified - including background checks, training, and enthusiasm to provide your child with an incredible experience!

What if my child needs me while attending in the Kids Wing on Sunday?

If your child needs you during the service, our security team will request that the code on your security sticker be placed on the large screen in the main auditorium. When you see the code, simply come to the entrance door of the Kids Wing and the security team member will bring you to your child.

we value safety first

For the protection of your children, we've designed a check-in security system that allows you to rest at ease knowing your child is safe while they attend.
Your child’s safety is important to us, so all of our staff and volunteers have passed an interview and background check. Check out our check-in and security protocol below.

FIRST TIME ATTENDING

  1. Start at the Kids Check-In desk where our team will register your family and begin the check-in process.
  2. You'll receive a name tag for your child and a security sticker with a randomly generated code that matches the code on your child’s sticker.
  3. Please place the sticker on your child and hold on tight to the Security sticker. This is your clearance to show our Volunteer Team that you are authorized to pick up your child.
  4.  After service, please show the Security sticker to your child’s Volunteer Team Member and you’ll be good to go!
  5. Once your family is registered, for all repeat visits you can check-in by yourself before services at one of the Self Service Kiosks using your phone number and selecting which kids you’re checking in.

I'M ALREADY REGISTERED

  1. When you enter our building you will go to the Kid’s Check-in desk Self Service Kiosks and use your phone number and select which kids you’re checking in..
  2. Next you'll receive a name tag for your child and a security sticker with a randomly generated code that matches the code on your child’s sticker.
  3. Please place the sticker on your child and hold on tight to the Security sticker. This is your clearance to show our Volunteer Team that you are authorized to pick up your child.
  4. After service, please show the Security sticker to your child’s Volunteer Team Member and you’ll be good to go!

MIDWEeK PROGRAMS

F.U.E.L - TUESDAY EVENINGS

This is a midweek small group opportunity specifically designed for kids 3 years old (and potty trained) through 4th grade. During FUEL, kids are encouraged and mentored to go deeper into God's word to grow closer in relationship to Him and find community with their peers, creating lifelong, grounded-in-faith friendships. F.U.E.L is on break for the summer! We will see you back in the Spring.

YTH 5:6 - WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

Yth 5:6 provides a safe environment for 5th and 6th graders to explore what it means to follow God. Every Wednesday evening, during the school year, we get together to hear teachings, be a part of a small group, and play games!

What if my child needs me while attending a midweek program?

If your child needs you during one of our mid-week programs
we will reach out to you by using the phone number on record in our system.
We ask that you come to the Kids Wing entrance and check in with the adult that called you. They will then take you to your child.
