At NRC Kids, our mission is simple:
“We build friendships and guide kids toward Christ-centered wholeness.”
We’re intentional about creating age-appropriate environments where every child is known, loved, and led closer to Jesus. From the littlest ones to preteens, every stage of their journey is designed with purpose, structure, and a whole lot of fun—so they can grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and discover who God created them to be.
We know these years are critical for helping kids develop a lasting, authentic faith—so we create a space where your child can ask questions, think deeply, and explore what they believe in a way that’s safe, engaging, and fun.

KIDS calendar
SUNDAYS
Services at 9:00AM & 10:45AM

ELEMENTARY: 1ST THROUGH 6TH GRADE
Each Sunday in our Elementary Auditorium, kids experience the weeks message through fun object lessons, skits, videos, and creative activities designed to help them connect spiritual truth to real life. They’ll also have opportunities to respond to God personally—whether it’s praying at the altar, worshiping with friends, or having meaningful conversations with caring leaders who are cheering them on. It’s high-energy, faith-building fun with a purpose: to help your child grow in confidence, build lasting friendships, and take steps toward knowing and following Jesus.

EARLY CHILDHOOD: 4 YR OLDS & 5 YR OLDS
Our younger friends get the opportunity to experience God in bite-sized bits through
illustrated Bible lessons, worship, videos, games, and more! Kids will rotate through 3
different sessions, each with a new experience including snacks and activities, worship
and Bible lesson, and play time where they will build friendships with leaders and other
kids their age.

LILS: BIRTH THROUGH 18 MONTHS
Our goal with this stage is to establish trust by providing smiling faces and lots of love,
whether it be through hanging out on the floor playing, singing “Jesus loves me” or just some
extra snuggles after a tough drop off. In our Lils room your child is loved and prayed for each
and every week.

WEDNESDAYS AT YTH 5:6 | 6:30PM-8:30PM
(during the school year)
5th and 6th graders
YTH 5:6 is designed specifically for 5th and 6th grader, because this age is a big deal. They’re
growing up, asking big questions, and needing a space that feels like theirs. That’s where Yth 5:6
comes in. It’s the perfect bridge between Kids Church and Youth Ministry. Students join the
larger youth group for high-energy worship, then break off into their own environment for a
message and small groups crafted just for their age and stage. We cover real-life topics through a biblical lens, create space for honest conversations, and build strong relationships that help 5th and 6th graders feel known, valued, and spiritually equipped. It’s fun, faith-filled, and it’s built to help your 5th and 6th grader confidently take the next step in their walk with Jesus.

WEDNESDAYS AT YTH | 6:00PM-8:30PM
(all year long)
7th - 12th grade
At NRC YTH, you will find a kind, curious Christ-centered culture with leaders that are dedicated to relationally loving students to Christ centered wholeness. Each night we kick off with a relational focused small group where students can talk about their weeks and connect. Then we move into a time of live worship, a message, and small groups where students are challenged to work together, answer questions, and process the message on a personal level. We love to have fun events throughout the year so stay connected for updates.
When you visit for the first time you will:
1. approach the NRC Kids Check-In desk where our team will register your family and begin the check-in process.
2. You'll receive a name tag for your child and a security slip sticker with a randomly generated code that matches the code on your child’s sticker.
Please place the sticker on the child and hold on tight to the security slip sticker. That is your clearance to show our Security Team that you are authorized to pick up your child. The code on this sticker will also be used to notify you if you are needed to attend to your child during service.
(The 4 digit code will be displayed on the screen in the adult worship center.)

You will then be able to pick up your child from the room you dropped them off in. Please ensure that your child continues to wear their name tag as our security team member will verify that your tag matches before you exit the Kids Wing.
(If you lose the security slip sticker, please go to the check-in desk where a team member will verify your identity and provide an additional security slip sticker.)
