What we believe

Our only hope of a relationship with God is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We confess our sin, repent (turn away from it), and believe that He is Lord.

"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins."

We are all moving forward on a journey to Christ-centered wholeness. We're not perfect, however; we seek relationship with God and to be transformed by Holy Spirit. We're in the process of being made holy.

"They do not belong to this world any more than I [Jesus] do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world."

The Bible is the infallible word of God and is our instruction for living. The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man.

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work."

The Bible teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after being made new through a commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

People often have questions, such as: "Does baptism get me into heaven? Why is baptism important? I’ve already been baptized; should I do it again? Does it matter if I am sprinkled or dunked? We believe that child dedication is for parents and families to make a commitment before the Lord to dedicate a child to God's will and to raise their child according to God's Word and His ways.

Dedicating your child in front of your church family offers us an opportunity to commit to leading by example through our lives, as well as support and encourage you along your journey.
