MARY SUE KAUER

My name is Mary Sue Kauer and I grew up around Greenwood, WI.

My favorite color is: YELLOW! Goldenrod, Mustard, Sunshine - most yellows
My favorite snack is: Iced Coffee, almost any baked good with cinnamon, and Weber’s 2yr Cheddar Cheese and vanilla soft serve!
If I were an animal: I would be a songbird, like in Cinderella where they joyfully sing and help her with stuff.

I’m one of ten children and I love my siblings wildly! (Mom used to say I have the largest set of lungs of them all.) I grew up as a rambunctious, noisy little ragamuffin on a hobby farm in Greenwood. Wildflowers are my favorite thing and I like watching birds at my feeders (when I remember to fill them).

This is my first year as a pastor on staff, yet I’ve been on staff since 2020. I’ve attended NRC since 2014. God called me to pastoral ministry when I was the Cubbies Director at AWANA in 2017. I was walking down the old preschool hall one Tuesday night, sensed the Lord’s presence and I said out loud “I’m going to work here someday”.

If I'm not at church, my husband and bestest friend in the whole world, Zeb, might be on a thrilling hunt at the most eclectic thrift stores! Or I’m playing Minecraft with my nephews.

preston tippen

My name is Preston Tippen and I grew up around Erie, Pennsylvania

My favorite color: Is Tie-dye a color?
My favorite snacks: Gummy worms/bears, Flamin’ hot Cheetos, biscuits & gravy, and apriplums
If I were an animal: I would be a peacock because I love their colorful feathers!
My wife's name is Aimee and we have 2 children who are great adventure buddies! Adventure is one of my passionate hobbies and includes anything from snowboarding to rock climbing, running, coaching, hiking, and reading.

I've been in Marshfield and at North Ridge Church since 2007. I have served in the roles of Children’s pastor, Executive pastor, Interim pastor, and now Co-Lead Pastor.

I love pastoring because it brings me great joy to see people proclaim God's truth and walk in the hope of the gospel.

When I'm not at church, I love to munch on good snacks and adventure with the people I love!

aimee tippen

My name is Aimee Tippen and I grew up in Pennsylvania!

There are 4 of us living in the Tippen Household. My husband's name is Preston and my two children are Paxton & Emilia. As a family, we love to travel and go on adventures together.

When I was very young, I would line up my stuffed animals and preach to them. I've always been captivated by the life transforming power of Jesus! I ended up becoming a Pastor because I was encouraged by my husband. I've now been a pastor for 15 years!

When I'm not at church, I enjoy thrifting, traveling, and reading a good book.
My favorite color: Rust orange
My favorite snacks: Granola, dark chocolate, and lattes
If I were an animal: I would be a mama bear because I protect those I love.

COREY SULLENGER

My name is Corey Sullenger and I grew up in Flint, Michigan!

I have a beautiful wife, Ketrina Sullenger, and 5 daughters. My daughters are Carolina, Olivia, Charliegh, Leeah, and Penny! We love playing games and hiking together.

I became a Pastor 7 and 1/2 years ago when I felt God call me into ministry.
When I am not at church, I am hiking in the woods. I love to backpack all over and explore God's creation. My current adventure is hiking the entire Ice Age Trail!
My favorite colors: Lime green & orange
My favorite snacks: Beef jerky, chips, & fruity candies
If I were an animal: I would love to be a bird. Being a bird would allow me to fly & explore vast landscapes!

JOY MUELLER

My name is Joy Mueller and I grew up around Milwaukee, WI.

There are three Muellers in my household. Me, Myself and I. We are big homebody's and love gentle adventures with friends, family and community.

I have been a pastor since 2024 after a year at Journey Ministry College and after many years of being a leader in Youth Ministry. I love serving Christ's bride, the church, and am excited to serve the youth of Marshfield and help them understand the unique people they are in Christ.

If I'm not at church (or with friends) you can normally find me in a coffee shop. Can't find me there? Look for me in a thrift store or curled up at home with a good book.
My favorite color is: Terracotta
My favorite snack is: Coffee, fresh fruit, and girl dinner
If I were an animal: I would be a Octopus. I to can open jars and I've always wanted extra arms.

christopher huettl

My name is Christopher Huettl and I grew up in Seymour, Wisconsin - The Home of The Hamburger

My favorite color: National parks green
My favorite snacks: Peanut M&M’s, apple fritters, & scones
If I were an animal: I would be a bonobo because I’m short, I like having thumbs, and being bipedal.
There are four of us in the Huettl family: me, my wife, Kathryn, our boy, Felix, and little Lucy. We love picking veggies out of the garden & going on walks in our neighborhood.
I was credentialed with the Assemblies of God as a pastor in 2013 but I have been serving in ministry roles since I was a freshman in high school. I’ve found that my passions are creating opportunities for the church to explore God’s purpose for their life through education and global work.

I explored ministry after sensing God asking me adopt his purpose for my life at a youth retreat. I had big plans for my life: move to the east coast, go to art school, become a cartoonist, work for Disney. God changed my life in a weekend. I saw that my plans were the barrier keeping me from walking in the purpose God had for me.

When I'm not at church, I am doing home projects, enjoying my family, or thinking about bird hunting.
